Common setup issues
Keyboard not appearing
- 1Go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards
- 2Tap "Add New Keyboard" and select Whispen
- 3Toggle on Full Access for Whispen
- 4Return to your app and switch to Whispen using the globe key
Microphone not working
- 1Confirm Full Access is enabled (Settings → General → Keyboard → Whispen)
- 2Check microphone permission (Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Whispen)
- 3Remove and re-add the keyboard, then restart your device
- 4Try again — if still not working, email us
Transcription seems inaccurate
- 1Speak clearly at a moderate pace
- 2Reduce background noise if possible
- 3Make sure you have a stable internet connection
- 4Whisper handles accents well, but very noisy environments can reduce accuracy
