Common setup issues
Windows app cannot hear the microphone
- 1Open Windows Settings → Privacy & security → Microphone
- 2Make sure microphone access is enabled for desktop apps
- 3Confirm the correct input device is selected in Windows sound settings
- 4Quit and reopen Whispen after changing permissions
Mac app permissions are missing
- 1Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
- 2Make sure Whispen has microphone access
- 3Open Accessibility settings and confirm Whispen is allowed there too
- 4Quit and reopen the app after changing permissions
Mobile keyboard is not appearing
- 1On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards
- 2Tap "Add New Keyboard" and select Whispen
- 3On Android, enable the Whispen keyboard from system keyboard settings
- 4Return to your app and switch keyboards with the globe or keyboard key
Voice typing feels inaccurate
- 1Speak clearly at a moderate pace
- 2Reduce background noise if possible
- 3Check that the correct language or workflow mode is selected
- 4If the issue continues, email support with your device and setup details
